For my second Valentine’s day nail art design, I wanted to avoid using stamping plates. So, I decided to use a combination of Twinkled T’s nail vinyls, nail rhinestones, and the drip marble technique, to create these cute heart nails.

I started by applying my F.U.N Lacquer “Triple 5” base coat and then applied two coats grey polish on my thumbnail and pinky nail. On my pointer fingernail I applied two coats of pink creme polish, and on my middle fingernail, I applied two coats of silver polish.
I left the fourth nail blank, ready for when I applied the drip marble decal.
I carefully peeled up the heart cyclone vinyl from Twinkled T’s cyclone variety pack and placed it over the silver polish on my middle fingernail.
I then applied F.U.N Lacquer’s “Precious Moment” pink glitter polish to a makeup sponge and dabbed it directly over the nail vinyl until it was fully opaque.
Next, I peeled up the nail vinyl while the glitter polish was still wet and then sealed in the design with a quick dry top coat.
To create the drip marble decal, I placed drops of white polish onto a polypropylene lid followed by drops of pink, silver and grey.
I continued adding the drops until there was a pool of polish on the lid, and then I lifted it up and tilted it around, allowing the polish to drip until it created a marbled effect.
I have also covered this technique before in my abstract and marble nail art guide, which can be found here.
When I was happy with how the marble effect looked, I left the polish to dry on the lid for around 6 hours until I knew it was completely dry.
When the marble decal was dry, I peeled it off the lid and cut the piece I wanted to use to the size of my nail. I applied some of the base coat to my feature nail and stuck down the decal while it was still wet. I smoothed out any creases with a makeup sponge and then removed the excess polish with a cleanup brush dipped in acetone.
I then sealed in the decal with a non-smear glossy top coat.
I finished the design by adding a holographic glitter topper to the grey polish on my pinky and then I stuck heart-shaped rhinestones to the bottom of my pointer nail and pinky nail using a blob of top coat.
On my thumbnail, I applied a the holo topper over the grey polish and then added some of SuperChic Lacquer’s “Crown Jewels of Enchantment” chunky silver glitter polish to the tip.
This is the finished look:
